Here at Kingston College, we are seeking two Security Officers to be part of a dedicated shift/rota-based team.
As our Security Officer, you will promote and maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors, as well as the protect the property. Manning the College’s main entrance, you will be alert to any potential security related problems, outstanding maintenance items or hazardous situations that require attention. You will carry out regular security patrols, input and assist with access control and monitor CCTV, completing investigation assignments as required.
We’re looking for an experienced and SIA registered Door Supervisor who has patience, tact, and honesty in dealing with people from a variety of backgrounds, particularly in confrontational situations. Able to work under pressure, at times without supervision, you will have exceptional communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team. You will be self-motivated, have a strong customer and hold a valid First Aid at Work Certificate.

Hours
Mornings - Monday – Thursday, 07:30 until 15:30 and Friday, 07:30 until 14:00
Afternoons – Monday – Thursday, 14:00 until 22:00 and Friday, 12:30 until 19:00
Over time is also available.
