Our client are looking for an Experienced Flexographic Printer to work closely with all colleagues, to oversee profitable production of printed film. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with already proven print experience, looking to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
Take responsibility for all aspects of running the press allocated, working positively with all members of staff within the factory to achieve excellent daily performance, involving:
Clear and precise communication on a daily basis with your immediate colleagues and print manager
Be flexible regarding running of different presses when requested
Maintaining maximum optimum running speeds
Minimising make ready times
Minimising waste
Passing and signing off jobs on the press
Minimising down time
Prioritising tasks
Organising cover on breaks
Supervising machines at stop times, allowing for wash up at end of the shift
Working a triple rotating each week
Reporting maintenance issues using the Company reporting procedure
Carrying out positive and effective shift hand over
Completing all paper work as required
Be observant concerning quality standards, including presentation of finished product
Ensure BRC Code of Practice is applied throughout the room
Computer literate
