We are looking for reliable HGV Class 1 drivers to represent our company on our expanding contract in Marston Gate who can work unsupervised, are trustworthy, and would like to progress with the company, you will be working 45 guaranteed hours per week on the Sunday to Thursday night shift, with start times between 2200 and 0200.
In return for your hard work, we ll offer you a competitive salary of GBP37,000 OTE including allowances. You ll also have access to a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, holiday pay and many other perks including ongoing training.
What you ll do on a typical day:
• You ll be delivering goods to a major plumbing and heating distributor on a multi-drop basis.
• You will be responsible for opening each site to offload the goods.
• Operating an FLT and off-loading palletised products on site.
• Completing delivery paperwork.
• Delivering on a set route with approximately 5 to 6 drops per evening.
• Returns to be loaded on the vehicle before the site is once again secured by yourself.
What you need to succeed:
• LGV / HGV C+E/Class 1 Entitlement on your licence.
• No more than 6 points, with no DD or DR endorsements present.
• CPC and Digital Tacho card.
• Strong knowledge of UK road network.
• An FLT licence, however, training will be provided
