Income Assessor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for maternity cover to assist in the day to day operation and management of the authority s social care charging policy. We are looking for somebody who will be responsible for conducting the means tested financial assessment for the people we support entering both residential and non-residential services, in line with the Social Services and Well Being Act (2014). This includes, assisting colleagues such as social workers to adhere to the charging policy legislation.

Your responsibilities are to: -
• Carry out your duties within competence framework set by the Finance Manager/Community Care Accountant,
• Attend any courses as required and directed by the Finance Manager/Community Care Accountant.
• Adhere to the values of the Finance team as laid down by the Finance Manager/Community Care Accountant.
• Adhere to and promote the values of the Council.
