Workshop Technician
A Workshop Technician opportunity has come up, working Mon - Fri, No Shifts, No Weekend work, 25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension, paying up to 40K (Location + Experience Dependant), Support and Training provided when required and more
A multi-national company is looking for a Workshop Technician to join their growing team. They are always investing in the latest training, tools and software to better help get the job done.
You would be working on a variety of trucks and trailers primarily rigid and artic trailers where you will be involved in all aspects including fitting equipment to the trailer chassis, fabricating new cabinets, piping up the new vehicles etc you will often work in a project from start to finish completing a good variety of work.
Workshop Technician Responsibilities
Maintenance on a variety of vehicles including Trucks, Trailers and Tankers
Remounting tanker barrels onto new truck chassis' or trailer bogeys.
Road tanker barrel and ancillary equipment maintenance, repairs and modifications
To inspect, service and repair trailers to a high maintenance standard
Running gear - installation and maintenance
Vehicle pneumatics, hydraulics and electrics.
Qualifications / Requirements
Must be a "Time Served" technician/engineer or possess relevant certificates or equivalent qualifications & experience
