The Laboratory Manager will play a key role in the successful completion of projects within our Pressure Testing Lab. They will oversee HSE compliance / controls and Permit to work system. They will conduct COSHH assessments and oversea Lab management of change. You will also will oversee Inventory, stocking and maintenance cycles.

As a Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and oversee all Hydromechanical Laboratory activities
- Facilitating procurement activities, ensuring on time delivery
- Overseeing all training requirements and competency assessments
- Conducting hands on testing for hydromechanical components which are electrically powered
- Conducting design, build and commissioning of qualification hydraulic and electrical test setups
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have considerable experience of working as a hands-on testers in a Laboratory; designing, building and commissioning test systems in a R&D environment
- Have proven experience managing and overseeing all activities in hydraulic laboratory
- Have a proven history of working within safety systems, i.e. Risk assessments, MoC, COSHH, Permit to work, Lock Out Tag Out
- Be able to adapt and fault find problems to bring about a solution to a test, qualification challenge, or material demand
- Demonstrate competency in PSSR regulations
- Be able and willing to train others in a testing environment, whilst overseeing their development and competency
