CNC Operator - Deeside - (Nights) - GBP14.40 per hourAbout the CompanyMy client is long-established and trusted engineering group, who integrate technical intelligence with practical experience to deliver heavy operational solutions and perform services to a wide range of industries and market-leading companies.CNC Operator - Working Hours

• Working Hours - Nights 18.00 to 06.00 Monday to Thursday
• Holidays - 18 days per year (April to March) plus UK Bank Holidays per year
• Overtime available (weekday rate time and a half / Saturday rate time and a half / Sunday rate double time)

CNC Operator (Nights) - Requirements

• Must have previous experience of operating controlled CNC milling machines and lathes
• The ability to use a variety of inspection measuring equipment and gauges
• Enthusiastic and persistent, with drive for continuous improvement
• Strong communication skills, demonstrable at all levels
• Team player, able to work on own initiative
• Organised and efficient; within a busy Machine Shop environment
• Flexible working attitude, where, when needed

CNC Operator (Nights) - Core Responsibilities

• Operating 3 / 5 Axis Milling machines and live tooling Lathes
• Read and understand technical drawings (CAD and manual) an advantage
• Can work comfortably with a range of materials
• Determine tooling requirements for each specification

CNC Operator (Nights) - Responsibilities

• Ensuring company health and safety policies are adhered to
• Must be able to machine to a high level of accuracy and work on own initiative
• Identify and load the appropriate programme for the specific job, referring to relevant technical drawings and job sheet
• Operating accurately and measuring to within +/-0.025mm
• Comfortable working to a planned schedule of manufacture
• Ensuring company quality policy is adhered to
• Previous experience of using manual milling machine is an advantage
• Skills set to include refurbishment / repair / manufacture jigs to aid machining and remake of machine parts as required
• Inspect own work to confirm it adheres to drawing specification
