Management Accountant

An innovative world-wide industry leading manufacturing business based in Sheffield are looking for an ambitious part/newly qualified Management Accountant

As the Management Accountant you will support the Financial Controller in all areas of financial management. This varied role encompasses supporting the month end closing process and account reconciliations, further developing the costing system to support commercial decision making and also involves a significant amount of business partnering across the manufacturing operations.

• Production of management accounts and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Support the business KPI reporting process.
• Development and updating of standard costs in the ERP system.
• Partnering with the business to help drive cost control, support improvement projects and develop capital expenditure business cases and support the development of new product introduction
• Support various reporting activities including, weekly and monthly cashflow forecasting and reporting, banking and cash management, year end process including stock-take and statutory audit

We are looking for candidates from the following background;

• Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA).
• Driven and ambitious personality with a desire to make positive changes.
• Thrives in an environment driven by tight schedules/deadlines and to deliver results.
• Strong Excel skills.
