Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA - Office Based

Hours: Full-Time / Permanent

Salary: up to GBP25,000 dependent on experience & Bonus Scheme

What will my role look like?

Our IT Department is expanding and we have a new opportunity available for a Technology Team Administrator! In this role, you will take full responsibility for the administration of our IT Projects; you will also provide Administrative support to our IT Leadership Team.

This role requires a highly organised and efficient individual who has the ability coordinate various project activity simultaneously through to completion. You will be highly involved in business meetings and you will be accountable for ensuring all parties understand the project objectives & goals. You will liaise with various departments to ensure action points and required project tasks are complete in line with deadlines.

You will play a key part in ensuring our projects run smoothly by overseeing the organisaiton of each project, managing deadlines, collating key updates & action points and driving the project through to completion; via regular communication and creating business documents such as project plans, excel reports, board packs, meeting minutes and presentations.

What would my main responsibilities be?

  • Coordinating internal resources and 3rd parties/vendors for successful execution of projects
  • Working collaboratively with our internal departments and external partners to successfully complete project service delivery to the highest standards
  • Attending meetings on project strategy & progress and coordinating / communicating outcomes & objectives through to completion
  • Provide project assistance and operational support across various different projects simultaneously, such as specifically analysing the progress of short & long term objectives, tracking project timelines and managing priorities and deadlines
  • Utilising technical writing & business administration skills to create and distribute technical documents such as project plans, board packs, PowerPoint presentations and excel reports to a high standard which meets our company guidelines
  • Administrative tasks such as general scheduling, note-taking, data entry, formatting and editing documents and organising documents / work schedules
  • Developing new approaches, processes and methods to enhance our project management performance
  • Pro-actively sharing knowledge and communications across relevant teams
  • Assist in definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders

Candidate Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a business administration or coordination role, working across various tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organised who enjoys coordinating projects & tasks
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office packages, with the ability to create documents presented to a high standard
  • Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and external parties
