X2 SUPPORT WORKERS

Hours: 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

As an award-winning college, we are always looking for exceptional staff to join our team. We truly value our support staff who have a key role in supporting and developing our students.

Duties will include assisting students by taking notes, supporting them with practical or assignment work and using intervention techniques to deal with both emotional and behavioural issues.

This role would be great experience for those considering a career in teaching/education, social work or working with people who have learning difficulties.

You will receive training on how to undertake the role as part of your induction and additional training is also available on a range of difficulties such as dyslexia and ADHD.

You must have 5 GCSEs (Grade A -C) including English Language at Level 2 or equivalent, you should also have some experience of working with young people and/or adults in a group environment. Experience of assisting students with learning difficulties and disabilities would be a distinct advantage, as would experience of the FE sector.
