Cogent Staffing are looking to recruit an Electrically Bias Multi Skilled Maintenance engineer to work for our client on a PERMANENT basis in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the Mechanical and Electrical installation, preventative maintenance and remedial maintenance of production, equipment, ancillary equipment and services.
The successful candidate will be Electrical bias.
THE CANDIDATE:
Must be able to operate and programme Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC s
Electrical/ Pneumatic process controls
Experience in the paper/ packaging industry.
Experience in FMCG/ Automotive/Pharmaceutical /ISO Compliance
Knowledge and experience of implementing lean tools
Knowledge of guarding and electrical safety circuits to Cat3/4
Must be apprentice trained - Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship, BTEC ONC/HNC,( NVQ Level 3/4)
Must be qualified in IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
Ideally will have CITY & GUILDS in Electrical Test and Inspection
Computer Skills (Excel, Word, Email)
THE ROLE:
Working on a day and night shift rota, you will have 4 - 8 days off work in between shifts
possibly travelling to other UK based sites if required (rare)
12 hour shifts (6am and 6pm starts)
Maintenance of machinery, computer controlled machinery and site facilities if required
Mechanical and electrical maintenance 70% electrical 30% Mechanical
Reporting to the engineering manager, working in a small team of maintenance engineers
THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:
GBP17.34 Days, GBP19.07 Nights
PERMANENT CONTRACT
Overtime available
You will have a Rota 6 weeks in advance so you know what you are working for the following month(s)
Free car parking
Canteen area, local eateries, fuel stations and transport links
