Role: Head Chef (Tuesday to Friday 9am-5.30pm) Location: Henfield, Sussex Salary / Rate of pay: GBP40,000

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a great catering and events company who have a fantastic opportunity for a Head Chef to join their team.

What's in it for you?Working at some amazing locations across the South, creating various cuisines and bespoke menus. This role offers great hours as well, from Tuesday to Friday you would be working 9am - 5.30pm at base which is 10 miles north of Brighton then on Saturdays you are likely to be on the road at events.

Package

• Competitive salary of up to GBP40,000
• Tuesday - Friday 9am to 5.30pm
• Saturdays would be working events at various locations (8-10-hour shifts)

What's involved?

• At least 2 years of event or wedding catering experience is preferred.
• Experience of producing high quality food for large numbers
• Adaptable to various event venues and field kitchen's
• Experience managing a team of chefs and organised approach
• Experience in a range of cuisine- fine dining, sharing food, canap??s etc
• A UK driving license is required
• During the week it will be food preparation at the Sussex kitchens working alongside the head chef and operations team to ensure the smooth running of the business.
• You will be heading up your own events at weekends and running a team of chefs on site.
