Administrator (Generation Wild) Ref: AGW(22)/OPS Directorate: Learning Team - Central Operations Location: WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre (with the option of hybrid working involving some time spent working from home) Working pattern: 22.5 hours per week (3 days) Salary: GBP13,209 per annum (GBP22,015.50 FTE)Contract: This is a fixed term contract ending 31 August 2023 (with the possibility to extend by a further 12 months)

We have recently launched a ground-breaking GBP1.5 million nature connection programme for schools, children and families in economically disadvantaged areas.

We are looking for an experienced administrator to support the Project Manager and the wider learning team with the admin tasks involved in running this significant project. This support will play a crucial role in making the project a success, inspiring the next generation of nature lovers - a generation who will develop a love and care for nature that will stay with them throughout their lives.

You will join a friendly, passionate and committed learning team who will make you feel welcome and appreciate the support you provide.

The ideal candidate will be well organised and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail. They will be comfortable managing large amounts of data (including financial information) using spreadsheets and databases. They will be able to arrange, and provide administrative support for meetings and events, coordinating and communicating effectively with people at a range of levels. They will ensure that project documents are correctly formatted, updated and stored where everyone is able to access them and that the project team have the resources they require.

The role will be busy and varied and needs someone who has a positive, calm approach, with the ability to multi-task and adapt, responding quickly to changing needs in an evolving environment.
