This role is on a part time basis of up to 30 hours and will be split between the Taunton and Wiliton office and working from home. You will be supporting the local hubs with managing volunteers as well as updating internal systems and managing the day to administration for the hubs. As an Administrator you will fundamental to the team, the service users and the volunteers and will be helping them on every step of the way to be able to achieve their best and to support the whole service and highlight it's involvement in the community. Main Responsibilities for the Administrator will include:
  • Help drive the Community Hub model forward and build the capacity of the service.
  • Increase the number of volunteers to support the delivery of the service
  • Maintain an up-to-date Hub customer management system
  • Administer Community Hub volunteer enquiries, applications, references, and DBS submissions.
  • Monitor and administer the Community Hub inbox
  • Deliver initial triage to online client enquiries and establish relevant support
  • Support the administration of Community Hub volunteer training sessions including venue bookings, training schedule, IT set up, training documentation.
  • Manage timetable of hubs and integrate/allocate new clients with appropriate hubs.
Successful candidates will need previous experience supporting a busy team with time sensitive projects and experience in completing applications and supporting others. As well as strong organisational skills and be used to working in a fast paced environment and dealing with issues of a sensitive nature and maintaining confidentiality. Experience in using Excel and updating database systems will be essential for this role. This role would suit: Administrator, Business Support Officer, Volunteer Coordinator, Employment Coach, Recruitment Consultant, HR Admin, Office Admin, PA or a Graduate with strong admin skills.Hours of work: 8.00am - 4pm with one hour for lunch, 28 hours per weekFlexible working: Working 1 - 2 days in the office in Taunton or Wiliton and 2 - 3 days working from home, IT equipment provided for home working.The position is initially on a temporary basis.Rate of pay is dependant on level of experience, up to GBP10.81 per hour.
