The General Teaching Assistant positions available in this two form entry primary school require Teaching Assistants who are friendly, supportive and nurturing. You'll need to be dynamic and committed as working as a full time TA in a mainstream setting mean activities and plans can often change quickly at short notice.

General Teaching Assistant employees will partake in a range of activities and will work closely with the class teacher to work in groups or on a 1:1 basis with the children. Working as a TA can be demanding but if you have the right attitude then the role can offer great experience for anyone looking to work in education or become a teacher.

Pay ranges from GBP70-GBP85 a day PAYE depending on experience. You will be paid on a supply bases initially with the view to a permanent or fixed term contract during the academic year.
