Primary Learning Support Assistant - Northampton
Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs?
Would you like to make a positive impact and join a local mainstream primary school in September?
If so, In Reach Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who would like to build on their experience and make a real difference in young pupils lives. The Primary School has an infant and junior site, which has two classes per year and was rated Good by Ofsted. Based in Northampton, this is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is based locally and can make a positive impact.
The School has opportunities on both sites and will assign you to a class you feel most comfortable in. This is a full-time commitment and will continue for the full academic year with the potential to continue permanently on the schools contract.
Criteria:
Degree qualified or completed relevant SEN courses
Supported primary-aged children with ASC, SEMH difficulties, S&L difficulties, and complex needs
Experience delivering an extra-curricular activity such as art, music, and/or sports (desirable)
Team Teach, Autism awareness, and other CPD courses completed (highly desirable)
Aspiring Teacher
Available on a full-time basis from September and can commit ongoing
DBS on the update service or willing to complete asap
Can register with In Reach and provide documentation on request
Looking for a long-term position that can continue permanently
