Lettings Manager (See Definition) "Someone who has a proven ability to match potential tenants to landlords who are looking to rent their homes/investments and has a proven ability bring new properties to market as well as making sure that their staff are also doing so. A Lettings Manager is the person who sets the example for the office and is the line manager for all staff members working in the department. Often paid a commission on what the office makes as a whole.

About the role (Where, who, what, why and When)

Where: Our Client is based in Carshalton Beeches, Surrey

Who: Cannot disclose at this stage, however what we can tell you is the property company in question now has over 5 offices in various locations in the Surrey areas and won multiple property awards with a proven track record of training and promoting their staff. They have been in the industry for over 35 years and still going strong.

What: We are on the lookout for someone who is looking fior a step up from an Assistant Manager or an Senior Negotiator.

Why: Due to a current staff member emergrating they have a new job openning for their office.

When: They are looking for someone to ideally start within the Month.

Hours: Mon - Fri 9am-6pm (Sat 10am - 4pm)

You will be required to work Saturdays on a rota basis, when working a Saturday, you are given any weekday off (Your choice) as a day in Lieu.

- holding daily Meetings with your staff/colleagues to talk through your day and set goals

- Generate applicants for the properties by calling through existing database

- Responding to enquiries from property portals such as Rightmove, Zoopla and on the market by phone and email

- Arrange and conduct valuations

- Maintain database of potential landlords

- Attend valuations

- Landlord touting/canvassing

- Provide training to staff where needed

- Negotiate offers with both tenant and landlord

- Setting and Hitting sales targets/kpi's on a weekly/monthly basis

- Complaint handling

- Carrying out monthly 1 to 1 meetings with staff

- Managing profit and loss for office/branch

- Responsible for setting and maintaining customer service

- Managing compliance / Checking move in paperwork
