To support our growing business, we are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our busy accounts department within our Gateshead office based at Team Valley.

As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:
Producing Sales invoices for various divisions of the group, checking our CRM systems to ensure accurate pricing
Coding and processing Purchase Invoices
Credit Control
Banking of receipts
Dispute management
Sage payments
Petty cash
Database maintenance using Excel
Other ad hoc duties to assist the accounts department

The successful candidates will have:
Previous experience in a similar role
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent communication and numeracy skills
High attention to detail
Experience of working with Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel
Experience of working with Sage 50 accounts
The ability to work individually as well as part of a wider team
A can do attitude with a proactive approach
Ability to work well under pressure
