Job Description
Ensure that Microbiological Laboratory is organized to carry out all routine required microbiological testing for manufactured products and Environmental monitoring
Responsible for the smooth and compliant running of the Microbiology area.
Define and update procedures for plant relative to microbiological and environmental monitoring
Maintain/review all documentation relevant to the Micro Laboratory - advise on specification changes where necessary.
Maintain up-to-date, complete, and precise records of all tests performed.
Ensure Laboratory Documentation and Computerized Systems compliance with Data Integrity policies and regulatory requirements
Responsible for Microbiological testing of finish product.
Responsible for Microbiological monitoring of utilities
Carry out environmental and material microbiological tests as required
Define and update procedures for plant relative to microbiological and environmental monitoring.
Test method transfer of microbiological method.
Validation of equipment and test methods for purified water.
Establish & Train laboratory staff in operational tests.
Education & Key Requirements
Degree level in Microbiology or biology. Masters preferred
3-5 years experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in a laboratory role.
High level of attention to detail & strong interpersonal skills
A good knowledge of aseptic processes' manipulation together with experience within a GLP/GMP environment and knowledge of current EU/FDA/ICH/HPRA guidelines
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
