My client is looking for an experience Payroll & Benefits Manager to solely look after the UK Payroll for the business. This role is a key hire for the company and you will act as the main focal point for all Payroll & Benefits queries UK wide.

My client is a specialist Manufacturing business who operate across Manchester & Globally.
Description
- Ensuring people are paid on time, accurately, across multiple payrolls;
- Ensuring monthly compliance requirements are met, including PAYE and National Insurance calculations and submittals;
- Ensuring other compliance requirements are met (e.g. annual reporting requirements, P60s, P11Ds, P45s etc.);
- Working with HR to ensure people being put onto payroll are legally allowed to work in the UK;
- Supporting other key payroll related processes such as administering bonus schemes, pay reviews or implementing other pay settlements;
- Ensuring compliance when rules change (e.g. tax or NI process changes, or introduction of new requirements);
- Managing the UK stakeholder pension scheme, ensuring auto-enrolment is conducted correctly and pension remittances are made on time;
- Managing all other benefits that are provided to employees;
- Maintaining accurate and up to date records that are easily auditable internally and by external third parties;
- Working with internal and external auditors when required to furnish payroll related information;
- Support acquisitions as and where required through onboarding new employees on to payroll;
- As and where appropriate, running improvement projects such as introducing manager and employee self-service, potentially a UK HR information system etc.
Profile
- Excellent Excel capability
- Understand UK national insurance and PAYE requirements and keep up to date on latest developments in them
- Familiar with multiple payroll systems / self-service capabilities.
- Have managed benefits processes including pension
- Have been involved in audit processes either via third party auditors or via HMRC audits.
