Graduate Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about children's learning and development? If so, REED have a number of exciting new opportunities to start in September 2022.

The roles will be based within the Ealing borough, where you will be supporting children who needs extra guidance with their learning or behaviour.

About the role

• You will be working as a one to one support for a child with SEND
• Supporting a child inside the classroom to access the curriculum
• Planning fun and engaging learning activities for the one to one
• Assist the classroom teachers, with extracurricular activities (e.g., Sports day, school plays)
• Interacting with one on one in and outside of classroom to support learning and development

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experiencing working with SEND children
• Previous experience working with children who have ADHD, ADD, AUTISM, EBD OR SEMH.
• Fully flexible and able to communicate with staff members and parents.
• Confident in de-escalating situations and creative to find solutions for challenging behaviour.
• Passionate about children's learning and development.
• Able to build rapport with children and staff.
• CACHE Level 3- Ideal but not essential if experience is sufficient.
• TQUK/NCFE/CACHE Level 2 relevant to Behaviour/Safeguarding/Autism- Ideal but not essential if experience is sufficient.
