Sellick Partnership are delighted to offer a fantastic Management Accountant role with Hybrid working in a UK leading retail business.
Our client has gone from strength to strength within the retail sector and is an established, market leading brand.
They are looking to expand the business with an exciting Management Accountant that's going to add value within their role. The potential of this opportunity is immense as you will be able to develop your management accounting skills whilst gaining exposure to business partner with none financial stakeholders.
This is a fast-paced role with an award winning leading retailer and as a result we are looking for a management accountant to deliver continuous improvement to enhance reporting, improve month end and general accuracy.
Role duties:-
Produce a timely period result (Retail P&L and Balance sheet).
Prepare board backs detailing financial performance and KPI's for the group.
Involved in the end-to-end, posting journals and calculating accruals and prepayment.
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
To business partner for central teams and to offer support around controlling costs and periodic rolling reforecasts.
Weekly & periodic reporting (actual vs budget, reforecast and prior year, variance analysis and commentary).
Prep of schedules and balance sheet reconciliations and involvement in the annual audit process.
The successful Management Accountant will be qualified (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA), the client will also consider a finalist.
Ideally, the client is looking for someone with a retail, manufacturing or cost-based background but this is not essential. Excellent communication skills are key which will enable you to solidify strong internal relationships.
