Area Sales Manager
The Role: This is an outstanding opportunity for an Area Sales Manager within the West Midlands. You will be selling our clients' extensive range of quality engineered valves, such as ball; balancing; differential pressure control; temperature control; thermostatic water and radiator valves. You will be selling these directly to end users, both M+E and HVAC contractors; as well as engineering consultants on specifications projects.
The Area Sales Manager role's focus will be on generating new business, whilst managing some existing accounts and continuously developing your own account base. The first-year target is GBP350k turnover, currently this area's turnover is GBP250k without having a designated Are Sales Manager overseeing the region.
Requirements: To be considered for the Area Sales Manager role you must have:
- Sold directly to end users within the HVAC market.
- Experience in B2B sales, up to Director level.
- Tenacious and driven
- Business Development focused, with a determined attitude
- Adaptable to clients' needs, seeking to build relationships and partnerships
- A strong negotiator who is confident with technical elements of the role
The Package for Area Sales Manager:
- Basic: 38-40k
- Bonus / OTE: up to 15% of salary
- Car: Yes
- Holidays: 20 days + Christmas shutdown!

Location: This Business Development Manager role covers Birmingham, Coventry, Staffordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Derbyshire, Leicester, Northampton, Lincolnshire. So, the successful candidate must live within a commutable distance to these areas; and be prepared to cover clients across these areas.
