The role is responsible for HR Planning and Development, this person will be responsible for the HR Strategy and develop and implement HR Policies, processes and interventions that support the strategy. The role requires broad HR experience and knowledge of key HR processes and stakeholder management experience at all levels

This role will require some within within the UK and across Europe

Strategic HR Planning

Accountable for planning and delivery of mid to long term Pan-European HR strategic goals in conjunction with Head of HR Planning.
Responsible for change management of existing policies and procedures covering holistic area of HR which includes total reward strategy, compensation, and benefit scheme, regional mobility, flexible working.
Develops HR interventions in specific areas with an initial focus on developing a new way of performance management structure, understanding the future outlook of Honda business in Europe and supporting business transformation.
Working together with Talent Strategy Department Manager, develop schemes to foster the transformative corporate culture and to generate associates' capability and performance.
Influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to create buy-in and deliver strategy. HR policy management - Design, maintenance and supervision of implementation

Response for HR policy development with an initial focus on revising the regional mobility policy and its implementation.
Enhance the efficient ways of working.
Manage international assignments. Regional compensation and benefit management

Responsible for compensation and benefit planning (total reward), including regional salary revision process.
Responsible for Pan-European job grading governance, supervising the European implementation.
Supervise salary benchmark to maintain market competitiveness, reflecting in the regional salary revision policy and its operation.
Maintain job descriptions for management grade within region (Bracknell and European branches), together with job grade. Regional performance management

Own the regional performance management policy as well as its operations for regional senior moderation (Bracknell and European branches), under the supervision of Head of HR Planning and Development Qualifications, skills and experience: Required/Desirable

Required

Has evidenced HR strategy development and planning ability.
Significant experience and achievements in European compensation and benefit management.
Experience in change management of new policies and procedures.
Ability to undertake analytical work with good numerical skills.
Use of data analysis, research and recommendations to problem solve and deliver strategic solutions.
Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines; planning and prioritising time efficiently whilst maintaining quality.
Ability to interact well with people at all levels within the organisation with excellent communication skills (Written and spoken).
Experience of collaborating as a team and working together to achieve mutual objectives.
Excellent MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
Have a strong customer focus balanced with business awareness Desirable

Educated to degree level or equivalent with HR or professional certification or qualifications desirable.
Fluent in another European language.
Experience of working within a matrix structure with understanding of cross culture differences and management practices is an advantage.
Has full knowledge and experience in job evaluation
Has good knowledge and understanding of overall HR processes including Employee Relations, HR operations, recruitment and Training & Development
