Emergency Call Handler (possible Temp to Perm for right person!)
Location: Norwich
Hourly Pay Rate:
Weekdays 06.00 to 20.00 GBP10.40
Nights 20.00 to 06.00 and Saturdays GBP14.39
Sundays and Bank Holidays GBP17.57
Do you want to be part of a team of Call Handlers responding to all incoming telephone calls, giving emergency calls priority over non-emergency calls; on a 24/7 basis, working rotating shifts basis.
Please only apply if you are able to work all shift patterns i.e. Days, Nights and Weekends
Qualifications
4 GCSEs at grade C or above (or an equivalent qualification) including English
RSA Level 3, (or equivalent keyboard skill)Experience Required
Previous call centre environment
Understanding of medical terminology
Customer service experience
Excellent listening skills
Remain calm under pressure
Handle traumatic, emotional and distressing situations
The ability to manage and support others during times of crisis -most commonly during an emergency callInterested, we look forward to receiving your application!
