Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a family owned, luxury 4 star hotel on the South Devon coast and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef to join their team, catering for their onsite, food led pub.

This beautiful property boasts a multitude of eateries for guests to sample the delights of Devon from, including the hotels own on site, food led pub which has its own dedicated team of chefs. Serving traditional pub fare, all made from scratch, using fresh, locally sourced produce.
What's involved?
As the Sous Chef of this busy food led pub, you will work as part of a well-established team of 8, serving lunch and dinner to both residents and non-residents alike. You can expect to cater for an average of 70-80 covers on a typical lunch during the summer, increasing to approx. 100 covers at dinnertime, monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins. You will work closely with the Head Chef, deputising and running the kitchen in their absence, ensuring yourself and the team all have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of heath and safety at all times.
