The following role is being offered on a 15 month FTC basis

Having been in London since the mid-1990s, our client is a very highly regarded US law firm that has long operated as its own entity due to its ongoing successes. Working for the former London Office Head and team, you are going to be extremely busy; don t let the former part fool you, the Partner is still a very prominent figurehead who is hugely respected and a tremendous business winner who manages the team/department very successfully. The Partner is very trusting of peoples abilities so if you successfully come into the fray, you will be treated with the respect your experience deserves and given the autonomy to manage him and the team without too many orders coming your way. Of course, there will always be requests of work, but once you know what is required of you, there is absolutely no micromanaging here.
The reason for the contract being a 15 month affair is that the client is looking for a long handover due to the number of different duties involved in the role. You will handle the amending of documents, multiple diary management, all national and International travel bookings, multiple breakfast, lunch and dinner bookings (if you have inside knowledge on the upcoming places to be seen, this is certainly an advantage), handling a lot of confidential and sensitive personal work on behalf of the main Partner, monitor e-mail inboxes for the team including drafting replies, billing and expenses. You will also create PowerPoint presentations for the group, maintaining a comprehensive list of all BD activity.
To be considered, you will be a quick thinking and ambitious Legal Secretary/PA who is looking for the opportunity to have heavy responsibility placed on their shoulders.
