DHL The Range are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Coordinator to join their 1million sq foot warehouse (which is the size of 14.5 football pitches) , BS35 4GH.

This distribution centre will support the 170 existing Range stores around the UK and further stores that are due to be opened this year.

As a Warehouse Coordinator you will work:

Rotational Shifts - One week 6am-2pm and next week 2pm - 10pm

As a Warehouse Coordinator you will receive a salary of GBP13.65-GBP14.56 (basic) and then Overtime rates

As a Warehouse Coordinator you will be:

Team Management in Ecommerce

Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members
Facilitate effective communication and relationships both inter shift and other departmental functions

Assist FLM's in managing all disciplinary and grievance issues (complaints) in line with HR policy

Assist FLM's in the completion of accident investigations

Ensure effective control of MHE usage to ensure minimal damage providing evidence of spot checks

Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in ecommerce

Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced

Support FLMs in delivering improved productivity levels using coaching and mentoring skills ensuring individuals are aware of their responsibilities and fulfil them

Work in collaboration with other DHL sites to maximise efficiencies and best practice

Any other reasonable request within the scope of the position with a flexibility to work any shift

requirements across a 24/7 operation (Please note the scope of this role includes permanent Night Shift working)

Personal hygiene and appearance to be maintained at a professional and acceptable standard at all times

Manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements

Deliver team member performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as appropriate

Key skills and experience in this role will include:

3+ years experience of warehousing / Logistics

Good analytical and numerical skills

Excellent interpersonal leadership, motivation and planning skills

Excellent communicator (verbal / written)

High School / secondary education - Essential

University degree or equivalent - Desirable

Previous managerial experience- Essential
