Role: Treasury Manager
Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA - Office Based
Hours: Full-Time / Permanent
Salary: Dependent on experience & Bonus Scheme
What will my role look like?
In this role, you will be instrumental in helping drive the Treasury Analyst's ongoing development. There is a real opportunity to influence direction and make an impact on delivering a longer-term treasury strategy, assisting Group Finance with all aspects of forward planning.
The successful candidate will work very closely with the wider Group Treasury team and will report directly to the Group Treasury Manager.
What would my main responsibilities be?
- Provide oversight to team, managing day-to-day issues and concerns, coaching and developing all team members, driving performance and deliver of the company goals through in-house tools and ensuring all managed within company policy, procedures and processes
- Managing the reporting of Global cash specifically short term liquidity and related banking structures.
- Manage and consolidated the Group's cash flow forecast and work to improve the accuracy of forecasting identifying key movements and drawdown requirements
- Monitor, analyse and report on risk management focusing on continuous improvement, including foreign exchange, interest, and liquidity risk
- Manage the internal financing strategy and funding, and related loan documentation
- Manage Group liquidity and Foreign Exchange exposures by dealing spot, forwards, and swaps. Maximising liquidity, working with business units to sweep effectively
- Management of the Groups guarantees and letter of credit facilities
- Monitoring and interventions to help improve working capital metrics
- Assist with broad range of treasury-driven special projects and initiatives, including the analysis of complex financial information / data to deliver commercial treasury recommendations

Candidate Requirements
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- People management experience
- Focused on delivery and able to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also as part of a team
- Good level of Excel (Lookups, PivotTables, etc.)
- Understanding of treasury markets & products - including transactional banking, cash management and liquidity, Foreign Exchange Risk Management.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent. Part qualified/willingness to study for the ACT or equivalent examination
- Proven track record of treasury working within a large, international organization, with solid understanding of UK and European banking regulations
- Knowledge of TMS systems preferred and SAP knowledge would be beneficial
