Class 1 Driver And Removals Operative

Class 1 Drivers Who are we looking for?
• Experienced Professional Class 1 Driver
• Ideally no more than 6 points
• CPC qualification and valid licence
• Excellent customer service skills
• Driving to and from location - all over UK & Europe
• A conscientious and hard-working team player
• Eye for detail, a problem solver and can remain calm when dealing with customers
• Able to read and write English - essential
• Forklift licence - desirable
• Experienced in European driving - desirable
• Experienced in the Logistics sector - desirable
• Experienced in the Removals sector - desirable
The Role:
• To drive to and from location - UK & Europe (long and short distances)
• To undertake the role of a Porter/ Removals Operative by assisting the team to complete jobs to a high standard
• To converse with customers to ensure customer expectations are met
• To move and handle customer goods/ household/ personal possessions - manual labour physically lifting/ handling with the utmost care and consideration
• To carry out European driving / work available when required
• To fully complete relevant on the job paperwork to a high standard in a timely manner • To carry out Banksman duties
• To follow H&S guidelines
• Full time • Permanent
• Based out of Brandon/ Ely/ Potters Bar depot
• Salary - (weekly paid)
Days & Hours:
• Normal days of work: Monday to Friday. (Occasional Saturdays are required at increased rate)
• Hours - from 5am starts, finish times vary depending on the job and can finish late on occasion.
• Nights away (set allowance paid) = sleeping within the vehicle bunks. (This could be 1, one a week, 4 another week and 2 another.)
