Accounts Assistant

Accountable Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of an Accountancy Practice based in Liverpool City Centre. My client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis. My client is a rapidly growing organisation, and this vacancy has been created in line with both their current and future projected growth plans.

My client is looking for an ambitious and motivated individual who has at least 2 year's experience within Accountancy Practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and friendly working environment with opportunities to progress within the company.

Position: Accounts Assistant

Location: Liverpool

Package: GBP22-25,000 (DOE) + study support

Job Duties:

• Preparation and finalisation of company accounts for clients
• Preparation of Corporate tax computations and returns
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Bookkeeping and ad hoc duties
• Preparation of self-assessment tax returns for clients

When will interviews be taking place?

Interviews will be happening as soon as possible

Who will this role report into?

This role will report into the Accounts & Tax Managers

Ideal experience?

• Ideally 2 year's experience working within accountancy practice.
• Competencies in the preparation of accounts and tax computations/returns
• Candidates will ideally be studying AAT or AAT qualified.
• An understanding of basic accounting terminology and ability to perform basic technical tasks
• Strong communication and organisation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and work ethic
• Excellent excel skills
