Are you a passionate about building compelling cases for support through the voices of children, young people and their families? Could you help us breathe life into our fundraising and marketing asks? If you are a self-starter with a knack for gathering inspiring stories, a stickler for detail and have a talent for shaping arresting reasons to donate, you could be a great fit for our Senior Knowledge and Information Manager role.

Here at Barnardo's, we're on a mission to put the experiences of the young people we support at the heart of our fundraising, marketing and communications. We also need to marry research, evidence and data with our asks for support, to compel more people than ever to support our cause. Now, we're on the hunt for a Senior Knowledge and Information Manager to help us do just that.

Working in collaboration with our frontline colleagues in Children's Services to discover and curate case studies, whilst gathering and curating evidence to explain the broader need for our lifechanging work, you'll get the chance to shape narratives, work with senior stakeholders and lead on best practice for gathering and storing stories.

This role sits within the Brand and Marketing team, which is part of a wider Fundraising and Marketing directorate. We deliver the organisation's brand and engagement strategy, creating compelling marketing and fundraising campaigns which tell powerful, inspiring stories to garner support. We also deliver design and digital marketing for the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a can-do storyteller and analyst who has experience of working with frontline staff and young people, as well as evidence-based data, to build hard-to-ignore cases for support.

You'll also have an excellent understanding of safeguarding, consent and trauma-led practice in order to work positively with vulnerable children and adults.

If you think you could be our new Senior Information and Knowledge Manager, we would love to hear from you.

The deadline for applications is Monday 27th June 2022.

Interviews will take place during the week commencing 4th July 2022.
