Salary Expectations: GBP40,000 - GBP45,000

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with a design agency specialising in retail and hospitality experiences. My client is looking for an experienced Senior Architect to grow the design team at an exciting time for the practice.

The perfect candidate will have exceptional time management skills and will be comfortable overseeing and reporting on several projects at any one time. The successful candidate will also client face, including taking and interpreting briefs, liaising with clients to ensure any issues are addressed in a timely manner.

Experience needed for this Senior Architect role:

• 5+ years' experience (post qualification)
• A full understanding of the UK planning policies and building regulations
• Previous exposure to projects in Retail sector
• To be able to work independently as well as leading a successful team
• To demonstrate excellent communications skills both verbally and written

Responsibilities needed for this Senior Architect role:

• To collectively work in unison with clients, contractors, and other external professionals
• To work towards project deadlines and ensure they are completed to a high standard
• Job running experience desirable but not essential
• Work collaboratively with the team and support more junior members of staff
• A sound knowledge of AutoCAD and Vectorworks
