Test Technician

FINTEC recruit is searching for a Test Technician for our electronics client in Cambridgeshire. This is a permanent role. You will work day shift 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 1:30pm on Friday, or night shift 4:30pm - 1:30am Monday to Thursday, including shift allowance. You will be a key member in our client's test department.

Responsibilities of the Test Technician include:

• Programming and testing circuit boards.
• Finding component level faults on faulty boards.
• Setting up and maintaining test equipment.
• Utilising the ERP system to track work completion.
• Producing and maintaining reports to comply with ISO9001 and ISO13485.

Essential skills and experience required for the Test Technician role:

• ONC (Level 3) or HNC (Level 4) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience of electronic testing activities within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent understanding of electronic principles, circuit diagrams, assembly drawings, BoM's and test specifications.
• Experience in digital and analogue testing.
• Experience with a variety of test equipment.
