For more information, visit us at strengthen our team, we are looking for aTechnical Field ServiceIdeally located in the Cambridgeshire / Hertfordshire region Job Description Summary:The Technician Field Service is responsible for developing the knowledge and skills to support the maintenance, installation, and repair of SCIEX products are customer sites. This position works under close supervision and mentoring by a manager, regional specialist, and Senior Engineers within the territory. Tasks are performed independently as competencies are developed.Primary Responsibilities:Completes assigned training tasksDevelops knowledge of SCIEX productsLearns and develops technical skills necessary to perform high-quality maintenance and triage repair on instrumentsPerform preventative maintenance and triage repair on selected productsAccompanies experienced Field Service Engineers on installation and repair callsMay perform installation/repair calls independently as experience increasesQualifications:Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent experienceAdditional Requirements & Competencies:Excellent communications skills and ability to build strong relationships internally and externally with customerWillingness to travel for multiple days at a time for Customer visits and/or trainingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDriving license is essentialExposed to moving parts and electricity that require safety protocolsComputer literate in Windows and NetworkingWhen you join us, you ll also be joining Danaher s global organization, where 80,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
