The role
They are now seeking a motivated and skilled Developer to join their team. Your primary responsibility will be to build and enhance systems that support their clients online gaming businesses. You will have the opportunity to use your Java Spring experience to assist the team in achieving company objectives. Your trouble shooting skills and the ability to work independently on set tasks will make you a strong candidate for this position. This is a great opportunity to work with gaming software with exposure to lots of new technologies, working practices and the ability to take a lead role on upcoming projects.
Role responsibilities
Deliver solutions against written business requirements and technical specification documents as directed
Investigate, analyse and document reported defects.
Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.
Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.
Build and design Java applications,Integrate a series of third-party APIs
Success will be measured by
Successful delivery of work within agreed timescales
Accurate delivery of agreed work, all development work clearly documented
Unit Tests clearly documented and executable
Demonstrate ability to pick up new skills and techniques
Skills, experience, Qualifications
Must have:
Proven experience in commercial development
Previous experience with Restful APIs, Web service
Previous experience with Spring Framework
Be a good Communicator and have good Interpersonal skills.
Have good Analytical Skills
Database design and SQL knowledge
Nice to have:
Front-end web development experience HTML / CSS / Forms
Gaming industry experience
.NET/ C# experience Experience with Agile/ SCRUM/ TDD methodologies
Experience of Unit Testing with Java
Knowledge of multi-threaded development is preferred
GIT / TFS / SVN
JIRA / Continuous Integration / Selenium and Team City
High-transactional or high throughput systems
Highly concurrent systems including multithreaded application development
Messaging technologies Degree in IT discipline
Language Skills
