Crowdys Hill School is a unique Special School in Swindon, Wiltshire with an onsite farm, forest school area and two sensory rooms as well as free parking.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Speech and Language Therapist to join our busy therapy department. We have over 250 pupils on role, mainly with Complex Needs, aged between 4-19 years, the majority of our students are diagnosed with A.S.C. We currently implement a range of communication strategies in the classroom and deliver specialist group intervention during the school day.
You will be in charge of your own caseload and supported by another Speech and Language Therapist. The post holder is required to train members of staff in the school setting and should be a team-worker.
The post is for up to five days a week during term-time and is flexible. We are open to part-time applications. Both newly qualified and experienced applicants are welcome.
