Senior Supply Chain Planner

We are looking for a talented Supply chain planner to join our team specializing in planning and improvements for our Power systems business in Peterborough. This is a hybrid role and we anticipate that you will need to be onsite approx. 40% of the time In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Implement structural change within our power generation business, to offer improved efficiencies and cost saving technics. Drive improvements end to end, from commercial demand plans through to supplier forecasts Manage Phase in / out activities globally to ensure plants minimize risk and launch new products successfully. Project manage supply chain improvement initiatives, including lead time control and strategic inventory management Lead all global inventory reduction activities, ensuring global and local targets are met, for example, excess and obsolete and stockturns To be successful in this role you will need the following: Solid understanding of supply chain principles Extensive stakeholder management skills Either educated to degree level or qualified via a business focused apprenticeship Able to lead a range of projects with varying complexities Salary: GBP36,801 - GBP49,800 per annum Defined contribution pension scheme - company contributions up to 9% Annual bonus plan - target 8% (based upon company performance) Contribution towards private medical insurance Health cash plan - support towards medical, optical and dental costs Life assurance 25 days annual leave plus public holidays Employee discount scheme - covering 100's of retailers Family friendly policies
