Excellent opportunities have arisen for two new Business Support Specialists to join our Computershare Plan Managers (CPM) team. The role of a Business Support Specialist is to act upon business requirements from the Consulting and Implementation teams across the globe. Configuring new services, service changes and service enhancements onto our Share Plan Administration tool - Equate Plus.
The Business Support Specialist will apply their SQL database expertise to drive the business forward and successfully support the continuous improvement within the Share Plans business. Salary is very competitive and dependent on what you have to offer.

A role you will love
Computershare Plan Managers (CPM) is the division within Computershare responsible for providing administrative services, project management and plan design to Plan Manager clients and their individual employee share plan holders.
The Business Support Specialist role operates within this division at a global level and must deliver within the agreed governance and regulatory guidelines, relevant to the region. The guidelines include successful delivery within agreed timeframes and quality standards.
A diverse and challenging role you will be working collaboratively across teams within the region, supporting continuous improvement and related activity. There is exciting potential to join the business at a time when there is big scope to actively influence the work joining mid- way through a long journey for the business area.
What key accountabilities you will have in the role?
Provide technical consulting expertise with regards to setups and features through collaboration with internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive solution proposals
Verify configuration requests to ensure they align to system capabilities and regional Share Plan operating models
Own allocated requests from the business, adhering to internal audit and compliance processes ensuring that work meets required standards
Work with various project teams to ensure work is prioritised appropriately ensuring that the right items are worked on in line with the overall business objectives
Proactively keep up to date with regional development releases to ensure knowledge is current
Proactively keep up to date with the global and regional Share Plan operating models to effectively deliver solutions
Creation and maintenance of configuration templates to ensure business processes are in line with new features and requirements
Assist internal stakeholders with solutions or system functionalities, in relation to industry requirements within regional standardised Share Plan operating models
Provide and assist with the technical education of internal stakeholders on Equate Plus
Proactively identify and seek resolutions to system / operational issues
Performance Indicators?
Clients & Stakeholders express high levels of satisfaction
Documents created and/or used for delivery are kept up to date with consideration to current knowledge and technical limitations
Risks and issues (including regulatory responsibilities) are highlighted and escalated where needed.
Change control is utilised as required
Meetings are attended as needed
All requirements and their delivery are clearly visible
Effective communication with relevant stakeholders
Supporting other Business Support team members to grow and develop skills through open knowledge sharing
BAU Team(s) satisfaction re: effectiveness and work delivered
Lessons Learned are shared across the team and wider group
Work in progress is managed through effective allocation of tasks
Ticket SLAs are met in line with standard approach
What will you bring to the role?
The ideal candidate will bring some good working professional experience where they have been exposed to data analytics, application of SQL within large databases and an ability to apply this experience within a high paced problem-solving environment.
Essential
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a technical role
Working experience with SQL
Ability to work in a team and independently
A self-starter, with motivation to learn and upskill
Preferred
2-3 years experience with SQL
Experienced in working with, html, Oracle database and Microsoft Office
Experience of Employee Share Plans or with financial services
Interpersonal skills to manage cross departmental interaction
