RE Recruitment are pleased to be working with a small family run Construction business based in Woodmancote in Gloucestershire.
This is great opportunity for someone to either work a full week and maybe 3 days per week dependent on your availability, there is certainly some flex with working hours, and we can build the working week around you.
We are looking for you to be a qualified Project Estimator with a proven track record of analytical estimating and cost planning to tight deadlines, and an in-depth knowledge of the house building sector. You will also need to have broad knowledge of construction methods, and experience of working with Google sheets and Excel.
Duties will include:
Prepare competitive net estimates as well as attend settlements and presentations
Abstract information into subcontract & material packages
Analyse & vet subcontract tender returns
Price elements from first principle on a labour, plant & material basis
Quantify & cost plan build costs from limited information to support initial development appraisals
Have a thorough understanding of project, scope of works and restrictions imposed by contractual requirements and site conditions
Establish opportunities/scope to maximize value.
To be successful in the role you will be self-motivated and an excellent communicator, able to work as part of a team and deliver results.
Salary will be negotiable based on experience and suitability to the role.
