Project Engineer

Our client makes a daily difference to millions of customers by supplying 2.7 billion litres of world-class water to around 10 million homes. They are an essential service and have operated throughout the Covid19 pandemic.

Project Engineer - What you ll be doing

Project Engineer - You will manage the end-to-end delivery cycle of engineering projects from the initial scoping of the need, through to commission/setting to work and handing back the completed project to the client.

We are seeking a Project Engineer that has managed multiple projects from start to finish. You will be confident procuring qualified contractors and must be articulate, numerical, and commercially minded.

Project Engineer key duties will include:

Health & Safety management for your portfolio of projects
Writing specification documents
Assessing tenders
Financial management
Programme management
Technical assurance
Communication with key stakeholders/customers
Ensuring all asset data is captured and updated at the end of a project
GBP40,205 to GBP54,395 depending on skills, experience, and location
36 hours per week, Monday-Friday
GBP4,500 car allowance & paid company mileage
We are looking for multiple Project Engineers so your base could be at key locations within the client s Southwest area, including Bracknell, Camberley, Chertsey, Crawley, Esher, Guildford, Farnham, Woking
Required to travel to other sites 3-4 days per week within an approximately 60-mile radius with some working from homeProject Engineer - What you should bring to the role

A full UK driving licence and have your own transport
Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes
Experience within a commercial and/or technical role
An HNC/HND in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or civil engineering or relevant experience
An awareness of Health and Safety and CDM 2015
Experience managing the delivery, design and estimating of engineering projects
The ability to work unsupervised and use your own initiative to deliver specified outputs
Graduates will be considered that have some experience with wastewater treatmentProject Engineer - What s in it for you?
