We have a brand new opportunity for a full time Governance and Compliance Administrator to join our Governance and Compliance team based at our Head Office in Sidcup with working from home option.

This is a 12 months fixed term contract with the possibility to become a permanent post.

In this role you will provide efficient and effective admin support to the Governance & Compliance team and be the main contact answering queries and providing support to our trustees and employees.

  • Provide general assistance to the team including diary management.
  • Assist with the implementation of the archiving and filing project.
  • Contracts administration.
  • Data Protection administration including providing support for subject access requests (SAR) document searches, information gathering and large quantities of photocopying, scanning and redacting of documents).
  • Be responsible for collating and updating the required information for our annual NHS Digital toolkit submission.
  • Provide support to investigate complaints about data protection breaches.
  • Arrange meetings for and provide support to the board of trustees.

What does the ideal person look like?

  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office including SharePoint.
  • Understanding of working with people disadvantaged through illness and disability. (desired)
  • Understanding of the organisations mission, vision and values.
  • Understanding of working with external stakeholders.
  • Be informed of the organisations current business plan and its aims.
  • Knowledge and understanding of The Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
  • An eagerness to learn and be self-motivated.
