Assembly Operatives

Our client,Perkins Engines (part of the Caterpillar group), requires Assembly Operatives. • Days & Afternoons (Fortnight rotation)

Day shift: Monday - Thursday 6am - , Friday 6am - 12amAfternoon shift: Monday to Wednesday - , Thursday - (plus 23% shift premium)

• Three Shifts (Weekly rotation)

Mornings - Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm (plus 8% shift premium) Afternoons - Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm (plus shift premium) Nights - Monday - Friday 10pm - 6am (plus 38% shift premium Additional benefits include, annual performance bonus for above expected performance, on-site canteen and caf??, on-site vending machines, rest areas, excellent Health and Safety training, free on-site car parks, all PPE provided free of charge, 25 days holiday + Public Bank holidays, access to internal vacancies. • Working in a world class engine assembly facility
• Adhering to standard work processes always ensuring safety and quality
• Assembly of components in line with standard work/visual screen instructions
• Assembling parts in the set time period 'Takt Time'
• Operating tooling, fitting aids and in some instances lifting equipment (training provided)
• Working effectively in a team environment

Requirements:

• Experience working in a production/warehouse environment preferred but training provided
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• A very tidy and organised manner
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
• The ability to work on your own initiative when required
• Flexible as shift patterns do change with appropriate notice periods provided
