Salary: £10,561 - £11,359 per annum (Actual)

Location: Taunton Campus

Bridgwater & Taunton College is located in the heart of Somerset, with main centres in Bridgwater, Taunton and Cannington. The College has an excellent reputation both regionally and nationally as a highly successful provide of Education & Training.

This exciting post will focus on engaging with university level Higher Education students, many of whom are mature learners, and increase their participation within the University Centre Somerset (UCS) community. The HE Student Engagement Officer will develop, implement, and deliver a comprehensive enrichment offer in line with sector expectations and guidance and will drive forward the UCS strategy in relation to student engagement. This post holder will be influential in working with HE students staff across our campuses to ensure a vibrant and dynamic journey for our HE students, giving them a fulfilling experience that enriches their lives and careers.

The HE Student Engagement Officer will work with students and staff to promote and implement learner voice mechanisms, to train and facilitate the Student Union, Student Executives and Class Reps to have representation across all levels. This post holder will aim to engage, inspire and support Higher Education students in their learning journey. Be a part of our students' experience and bring out their best.
