Client Details

Michael Page Technology have partnered with a global manufacturer of metal and glass to assist them in finding a Website Developer located in the North West. This position would be suitable for anyone who enjoys getting creative and have experience designing and developing websites who wants to take the next step in their career.

You will be responsible for developing, enhancing and creating their web based solutions using .NET, C#, JavaScript. There is a large pipeline of high profile projects you will be required to work on, adopting agile methodology.

Description

Web Developer responsibilities are:

* Produce well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices- .NETcore

* Build website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices

* Liaise with stakeholders, keeping them up to date with the progress of their web based solutions

* Able to work successfully with stakeholders across multiple time zones

* Maintain, expand, and scale the current web based Site core solutions

* Work together with web designers to match visual design intent - knowledge of UX/UI

Examples of current projects:

• Rebuilding and upgrading the primary companies web solution working with the designers to give it a fresh new look, and make it super efficient
• Rebuilding their umbrella companies website and bringing it in house rather than outsourced

Profile

• Significant experience with at least one of the following programming languages: .NET or C#
• Good experience with website/application development
• Knowledge of modern HTML/CSS - any other Front End language is a bonus (React, Angular, JavaScript)
• Strong problem solving skills with a creative approach
• Strong organisational skills with a good ability to prioritise tasks
• Ability to communicate effectively
