TEACHING ASSISTANT
Grade 14 (£19,264 - £20,043)
39 weeks per year (term time plus INSET days)
33 hrs 45 minutes per week

The Castle School in Taunton is looking to recruit two Teaching Assistants to join our successful, busy school. Teaching Assistants support students with a wide range of challenging needs including physical, language and communication difficulties, social and emotional difficulties as well as specific learning difficulties. The work may be with small groups, 1:1 or within the classroom and the schools’ SEMH provisions.
Applicants should be enthusiastic, patient, demonstrate flexibility, initiative and excellent communication skills, be a team player and have strong empathy skills.
