Test Analyst for a global innovative digital services provider passionate about delivering great outcomes to their clients and proud of their long-term engagements in both ongoing project delivery and service management.

Hybrid working split between remote home working and the office in Kempston, Bedford and occasional meetings in Milton Keynes.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Solutions group as a Test Analyst as part of their expanding Test Team. Working in a dynamic fast paced environment, the successful candidate will be expected to own test activities for an ongoing high-profile contract as part of a dedicated team for a well-known UK retail brand, as well as collaborating with the wider test team. This role will involve all aspects of the test process including planning, executing, and maintaining both manual and automated test suites.
The ideal candidate will be quality driven and self-motivated, with experience in manual testing with some exposure to automated testing.
You will:

Collaborate with the dedicated team located both on and offshore
Work in Agile and attend sprint ceremonies
Analyse business and functional requirements
Design and execute manual test cases accurately and report any defects
Manage defects throughout the defect management process
Peer review team members work and provide feedback on suggested improvements
Feedback on test progress throughout sprint cycles
With guidance from the Automation Test Lead, help scope, run and maintain the automated test suite
Share knowledge and best practice with the wider team to enable continuous improvement

Essential:

Proficient in using HP Quality Centre
Unix Micro-Focus Dialog
Exposure to the Test Process and some Test experience
Experience working in an Agile environment
Understanding of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices
Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and proven experience of the ability to communicate with business and technical personnel
Understanding of systems, integration, regression and UAT testing
Adaptable/flexible in an ever-changing environment Desirable

Understanding of stock management systems
Knowledge of automated test tools such as Cucumber/ Gherkin
ISTQB Foundation accreditation (minimum) What we can offer you:
