Our client is a very well-established and renowned business in their field, supplying chemical products to many manufacturing industries.
They are currently looking to appoint an HSE Advisor to join their team at the Leek site.
Main duties
To assist the HS&E manager to lead, facilitate and initiate activities to ensure the site operates in compliance with HS&E Legislation and HS&E Management Systems.
Conducting risk assessments
Developing and delivering training courses
Conducting audits and inspections
Supporting the continual improvement of the HS&E management systems
Other general duties as required
Requirements
Minimum graduate or equivalent in chemistry/chemical engineering or relevant subject
Chartered Member of IOSH (or working towards CMIOSH)
Thorough knowledge of relevant ISO standards -ISO14001 and ISO45001.
Experience working within the chemical or related industry, preferably COMAH regulated operation.
