The role of the Civil Sales Engineer - Ground Engineering Products will involve:
Field sales role selling our clients manufactured range of ground engineering and ground support systems such as: piles, micro piles, soil nails, solid bars, injection anchors, hollow bars, retaining walls, slop stability
The majority of your time will be generating specifications through consulting engineers, civil engineers, geotechnical consultants, piling contractors, drilling companies, surveyors, and end users
The remaining portion of your time will focus on selling directly to contractor relationships: piling contractors, civil contractors, drillers, piling contractors, main contractors
Will be required to conduct CPD seminars
100% of your time will be spend developing new business relationships
Being able to plan, develop and execute technical seminars and presentations on related company products
Spending on average 4 days on the road with 1 day admin at home office
The ideal applicant will be a Civil Sales Engineer - Ground Engineering Products experience with:
Must have a technical civil engineering products background such as piling, anchoring, tunnelling, and steel reinforcement OR have a sound geotechnical / geosynthetics background familiar with the above products
Would be ideally working for a pilling contractor / driller / quantity surveyor / architect / installer / project management company working extensive with geotechnical knowledge and installations experience
Must have experience with products such as piles, micro piles, soil nails, solid bars, injection anchors, hollow bars, retaining walls, slop stability
Must have had contact with or worked for civil contractors and engineers / surveyors
Must understand technical CAD drawings
Ideally have experience of having sold through specification to consulting engineers / civil engineers / geotechnical engineers
Good knowledge of ground conditions and site investigation
Ideally have civil engineering qualifications
Product knowledge of geosynthetics materials
