Job Outline:

My client who is a leader within the Automation/Machine Vision sector, is now looking for a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join the team based in Oxfordshire.

As a keen and enthusiastic Graduate Electrical Design Engineer, you will be using AutoCAD electrical to design panels and electrical systems.

Working on projects from small retro-fit camera systems to large industrial automation machinery, this will be a varied and interesting role.

Withing the role you will learn and become experienced in creating electrical schematics (within AutoCAD), along with creating layout diagrams, terminal and wiring plans to EU standards.

You will also become experienced in specifying components and undertake electrical testing procedures on new machine builds and carry out electrical problem-solving during the manufacturing build process.

When required you will also undertake electrical fitting, wiring of panels and assembly of machine builds.

Qualification:

Ideally you will have achieved a degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

Industry experience is not essential, but it is expected that you will have a logical approach to problem solving, be well organised and have the ability and willingness to work as part of a close team.
